In St. Petersburg, a criminal case has been opened under articles on organizing illegal migration (paragraph “a” of part 2 of article 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and organizing a criminal community (parts 1, 2 of article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The investigation considers the head of the group of the municipal deputy of the Kolpino MO from United Russia Viktor Danishevsky, writes “Kommersant”.

According to investigators, a deputy of one of the municipalities of St. Petersburg created a criminal community that dealt with forged documents to register foreigners with migration records. The grouping, according to the UK, registered at least 100,000 foreign citizens. These people were registered at the place of stay in non-residential premises.

In addition to the Investigative Committee, the FSB and the National Guard are involved in the investigation of the case. In total, six people were detained: three men and three women. At the same time, the organizer was detained in the Ryazan region “while trying to escape.”

According to Kommersant, the investigation considers Viktor Danishevsky, a deputy of the Kolpino municipality and president of the Federation of Mixed Martial Arts of the Leningrad Region, to be the organizer of the grouping. Surname Danishevsky featured and in the release of the press service of the courts of St. Petersburg. Municipal Daily writes that Danishevsky was elected from United Russia.

Sports.ru notesthat Danishevsky runs the Fightspirit mixed martial arts club, for which many famous fighters have competed, including Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev.
