Petersburg canceled New Year’s fireworks. About it declared Vice Governor Boris Piotrovsky on the air of the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station.
During the broadcast, Piotrovsky added that the concert on Palace Square was also cancelled. According to the vice-governor, the authorities of St. Petersburg will not buy “large-scale decorations.” Instead, the city administration uses last year’s New Year’s decorations.
