The President of Finland announced an indefinite ban on tourist travel for Russians

The ban on the issuance of tourist visas for Russians will be indefinite. About it declared Finnish President Sauli Niinistö at a press conference during his visit to Lithuania. According to him, the adopted measure will be valid “for as long as necessary.”

Also during a press conference, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda called the problem of Russian tourists a “moral dilemma”. In his opinion, the ban on issuing visas for Russians is a method of pressure on Russia.

In addition, in a conversation with journalists, Nauseda expressed the hope that the membership of Finland and Sweden in NATO will be ratified during the next summit of the North Atlantic Organization.
