Two billion rubles were spent on the state information system for housing and communal services (GIS housing and communal services), while the project did not show the necessary results, Alexei Kudrin, head of the Accounts Chamber of Russia, said on Tuesday during a speech at a forum in St. Petersburg, writes Prime.
“There is a GIS housing and communal services. It was supposed to be the most extensive system: data on tariffs and payments in each house should be entered there, we should know about the state of the tariff situation and payments in real time. But 30% of the data is entered there. What goals will it achieve?” Kudrin asked rhetorically.
He added that the work of GIS created at the expense of the budget is a big problem in general.
