The courts received more than 5 thousand protocols on the “discredit” of the Russian army
Russian courts received 5,003 protocols on “discrediting the army” in nine months. About it informed “Mediazona” with reference to the data collected by GAS “Pravosudie”.
Of all the protocols, 5,001 cases were considered in district courts, two more in military courts, the journalists noted. At the same time, one of the “military” cases was brought against a civil one; the hearing was held at the 26th garrison court in Baikonur.
Most cases of “discredit” were brought in Moscow – 681 cases were submitted to local district courts. Petersburg is next – 284 cases. In the Krasnodar Territory, 233 cases were opened, in the annexed Crimea – 167 cases. Another 140 cases were submitted to the courts of the Sverdlovsk region.

Most of the cases have already been considered. Depending on the region, 70-80% of them have already made a decision.
What you need to know. Law on “discrediting” the Russian army began act March 4th. It provides for a fine of up to 50 thousand rubles, however, a criminal case may be opened for a repeated offense against a person.
In addition, the Petersburg police regards as a “discredit” performance with a Ukrainian flag at a military hospital, a shopper with the inscription “Peace to Ukraine, freedom to Russia” or Kinder surprise toys with anti-war stickers.
