The initiative with the new course was supported by the Ministry of Defense. The head of the General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, wrote to Mironov that it was necessary to allocate 140 hours for army lessons over two academic years, reported “News”. Gerasimov also suggested that schools recruit officers and combatants as teachers of the new subject.

How long will combat training courses take? The Ministry of Education proposes to allocate 35 hours a year to military training. This is 6% of the average workload of students in grades 10-11, counted agency journalists.
If 140 hours are allocated for combat training, as Gerasimov proposes, then the items that appeared after the start of the war will take more than 200 hours for high school students.
