What you need to know about the museum. The Museum of the Nevyansk Icon is run by the ex-mayor of Yekaterinburg Evgeny Roizman. At the end of August, politics detained in his apartment, and in the museum of the icon and its fund were searched. The former mayor was accused of "discrediting the army." Previously, he was fined three times for "fakes" about the Russian military.
Later court appointed Roizman was given a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions until September 29 - the politician was forbidden to visit public places, communicate with witnesses of the case, and use means of communication.
What else is known. At the end of September, Mikhail Piotrovsky once again reassigned to the post of director of the Hermitage. He has occupied it since 1992 - before that, the museum was managed by his father, who had been head of the Hermitage since 1964.
