Details. The space is planned to be opened on the territory of the Kronstadt Dock Admiralty. In addition to captured equipment, steles to the heroes of the war in Ukraine and screens with maps of hostilities will be installed there.

“This large platform will give all visitors the opportunity to get acquainted with the modern truthful interpretation of the goals and objectives of the NMD, the new heroes of the Russian Federation and captured equipment,” the project description says.

Price. They plan to spend 144.9 million rubles on construction, of which 75 million were requested from the Presidential Grants Fund, the source of the rest of the money is not disclosed. At the moment, the project is going through the stage of independent examination. The money has not yet been allocated.

Who will build. The author of the grant application is the international charitable foundation “Kronstadt Naval Cathedral in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker”. To its Board of Trustees are included Dmitry Medvedev’s wife Svetlana, Patriarch Kirill, Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, State Duma deputy Leonid Slutsky, former Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky and others.
