At the end of October, 1C Company held the 9th 1C: ERP Business Forum dedicated to the implementation and development of 1C solutions and services for the corporate market, large and medium-sized enterprises, 6,500 participants from 400 cities in 10 countries registered for the event, reports company.
More than 2,750 people from 1,350 organizations took part in the forum in person. There were 3,480 users on the website for broadcasting the event in an online format.
1C:ERP is a solution for building complex information systems for managing the activities of diversified enterprises, including those with technically complex multi-processing production. The solution is in high demand among large and medium-sized companies in Russia and the CIS. More than 7000 organizations have already become users of 1C:ERP, about 2300 successful implementations have been published.
The 1C:ERP business forum was held by 1C for the ninth time. The event traditionally arouses great interest among representatives of large and medium-sized businesses, authorities at various levels, the number of participants is growing every year. In 2020 and 2021, due to pandemic restrictions, the forum was held online. This year, the forum resumed its work in person, with online broadcast of all sections.
Most of the forum participants – 71% – represented the management of large and medium-sized businesses from more than 400 cities in Russia and 9 countries of near and far abroad.
Forum participants got acquainted with successful implementation cases of 1C:ERP, 1C:Corporation, 1C:ERP. Holding Management”, “1C:Holding Management”, “1C:Document Management”, “1C:Salary and HR Management CORP” and other solutions for the corporate sector, new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency of enterprise management, organization of accounting, control and analysis of financial , material and human resources, as well as with 1C services, industry and specialized solutions that expand the capabilities of 1C: ERP, the report says.
Representatives of more than 70 commercial companies and government bodies shared their experience of large-scale implementation of 1C solutions.
At the forum, a new product “1C:Personnel” was announced for the first time – a tool for a recruiter, HR manager, HR director, designed to replace foreign analogues. The release of the first version is scheduled for April 2023, it will implement the functions of recruiting and viewing vacancies, assessing candidates and employees, working with the organizational structure of the enterprise, collecting information for creating a vacation schedule, remote questioning, testing candidates and employees, and staff adaptation. The product has a modern lightweight design, is focused on cloud and mobile use on almost any device, and will support interaction with the main recruiting sites.
During the day at the forum there was a vernissage of software products, where 77 stands were presented.
After the plenary session, forum attendees took part in the work of parallel sections for the main categories of managers who use 1C: ERP in their work or plan to implement the system: for IT directors and digitalization directors, financial directors and chief accountants, technical directors and production managers . At the sections, the leading developers and methodologists of the 1C company demonstrated the capabilities of 1C: ERP for effective management and accounting in enterprises.
Separate sections were devoted to the functionality and examples of using the software. Solutions for automation of the public sector and medicine, trade, transport and logistics, agro-industrial complex, construction and housing and communal services, repair and maintenance management, industrial safety and ecology were presented at seven industry sections.
The business part of the forum ended with the solemn awarding of the winners of the sixth international corporate automation competition “1C: Project of the Year”.
The projects were evaluated by a professional jury. In addition to the jury’s assessment, an open Internet voting was held on the competition website, the results of which were taken into account in the rating of projects. The projects aroused great interest among the IT community and collected about 38,500 votes.
The current 1C:Project of the Year competition involved 217 projects implemented in 2021-2022, the descriptions of which were published on the official website of the competition eawards.1c.ru. The awards were presented to the winners by the director of the 1C company Boris Nuraliev.
The main prizes were awarded to representatives of 1C user companies and partners for projects in the following categories:
- Best Integrated Project: JSC Izhevsk Radiozavod improves competitiveness in the instrumentation market with the help of 1C:Corporation. The customer is Izhevsk Radio Plant JSC, the contractor is 1C-Rarus Kazan.
- The largest project: “Automation of the business process of managing receivables and payables in the Rostec State Corporation”. The customer is RT-INFORM LLC, the contractor is Coderline.
- The best geographically distributed project: “Automation of treasury processes of the Rosgeo Holding” based on “1C: Holding Management”. The customer is Rosgeo JSC, the contractor is ArtIT.
- The best project in the subject area: integrated enterprise resource management (ERP): “Automation of JSC “Ural Civil Aviation Plant” based on the solution” 1C: ERP. Holding Management” as part of the 1C:Corporation complex. The customer is Ural Civil Aviation Plant JSC, the contractor is Raitek.
The awards were also received by 1C user companies and partners that implemented implementations for projects in 29 more subject areas, 31 industries, as well as for the best regional projects in Russia and abroad. The economic effect of the implementation and the results of the projects submitted for the competition once again clearly demonstrated how 1C software products help to increase business competitiveness, management and accounting efficiency at enterprises of various industries and scales, the report says.
