After the death of the former soloist of the legendary band of the 90s, Yuri Shatunov, the ex-producer of the group said that he intended to recreate it with new artists.
The hits of the legendary band are still in demand and popular, but in recent years, “Tender May” has been haunted by continuous misfortunes. For thirty years, 17 musicians have passed away, who in one way or another were related to the group. This summer, Yuri Shatunov died, and a few months later the keyboardist Mikhail Afanasyev died.
However, sad fate did not force Andrei Razin to abandon his idea to revive the legend. He said that he began to look for young musicians to create “Tender May 2.0”. News about them can be read on the official pages of Razin in social networks.
At the same time, the producer said that all content related to Yura Shatunov would soon be removed from the public domain. According to him, in three months the songs and videos will be available exclusively on Andrey Razin’s official channels.
“The patent for “Yura Shatunov”, “Andrey Razin”, “Tender May” belongs to me and was transferred to the Americans, so everything will be deleted. (…) Everything will be only on my two channels – Andrey Razin and Laskovy May, ”Razin said.
The producer assured that those who are going to continue to illegally use the work of the group will face criminal prosecution. At the same time, we recall that shortly before his death, Yuri Shatunov won a long-term struggle with Andrei Razin for the rights to the songs of “Tender May”.
