On October 29, 21-year-old St Petersburg University student Daria Tverdokhleb died in a stampede in Seoul. About it informs university press office.
Daria Tverdokhleb was a fourth-year student of the Liberal Arts and Sciences program. At the university, she was called “an intelligent and talented student who achieved high academic results.”
On September 17, Daria turned 21 years old. On October 20, the girl was sent to inclusive education at Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea.

October 29 during the celebration of Halloween on Itaewon Street in the capital of South Korea formed stampede, in which, according to the latest data, 154 people died. Among the dead were four Russian women, including Daria Tverdokhleb.
This was the first Halloween celebration in Seoul without coronavirus restrictions. The tragedy was the largest for the country since 2014, when more than 300 people died due to the collapse of the ferry.
