United Russia will hold free classes in sports centers in the regions, group classes, master classes, mass exercises with champions and passing TRP standards. The headquarters of the public support of the party will open playgrounds for the elderly, where coaches will also work with them. People with disabilities will also be able to participate in the sports marathon.
The initiative is supported by more than a thousand non-profit organizations, said at the first meeting of the organizing committee of the marathon Chairman of the Council of Party Supporters Olga Zanko.
The partners of the marathon were the Young Guard of United Russia, the Russian Sambo Federation, the Russian Union of Athletes, the Union of National and Non-Olympic Sports, the Association of Russian Fitness Industry Operators, DOSAAF, the All-Russian Society of the Disabled, Yunarmiya.
“June 1 – Children’s Day – we will focus on children’s sports. On June 12, we will hold training sessions and master classes in national and non-Olympic sports, the venues of the Za Sambo party project. On June 24, on Youth Day, we want to focus on the norms of the TRP. July 8 – in family sports, to hold events in military camps, with the families of the mobilized. July 20 is International Chess Day. From July 24 to July 31, we offer to make a week of inclusive training. The marathon will end on August 12, on Athlete’s Day, with a big sporting event,” she said.
Anyone can take part in the marathon. Trainings and lectures of professional athletes will be available online.

From June 1, on the interactive site map, you can choose the site you like, see if it is possible to visit it with a child, and whether it is equipped for inclusive sports. After registering for a training session, a ticket with a unique participant number and a QR code will be sent to your e-mail. It is a confirmation of a seat reservation at the event. A unique number makes it possible to receive a prize.
Deputy Minister of Sports Andrey Fedorov noted that the Ministry of Sports supports the holding of the marathon and is ready to include it in the Unified calendar plan of interregional, all-Russian and international sports events.
“The marathon is especially significant because serious attention is paid to young people and family members of military personnel who have been mobilized and are located in the NVO zone. Taking care of them is the most important task facing all authorities and public structures,” he noted.
In September, United Russia will sum up the results of the marathon.
