Analysts hh.en analyzed the labor market in the field of chemical production and found out that employers have a growing demand for new employees on a monthly basis. What professions are most in demand, how much they are willing to pay employees, as well as what conditions and requirements are now in this industry – in the review hh.en.
An analysis of the labor market shows that since the beginning of the year, Russian employers from the Chemical Production, Fertilizers industry have posted more than 30,000 vacancies on hh.ru. This is 33% more than in the first quarter of 2022. At the same time, in the whole country, there is a stable monthly growth in demand for personnel in the chemical sector. Thus, in March alone, Russian companies from the chemical industry posted about 15,000 vacancies, which is 112% more than in February, and also 136% more than in January.
Employers from the Rostov region are in 15th place in the country in terms of demand for such personnel: about 530 vacancies in the chemical industry. Compared to the first quarter of 2022, the number of such vacancies in the region increased by 12%.
Most often, employers from the industry “Chemical production, fertilizers” are looking for and hiring client managers (11% of new vacancies in the last month), production line operators and drivers. Technologists, accountants, engineers, and scientific specialists are also in high demand.
“Employers from the chemical industry began to offer part-time jobs more often (+33%), to take applicants for internships 16% more often, which is in line with current general market recruitment trends. In addition, the number of vacancies with a shift work schedule increased by 32%, there were more vacancies remotely by 20% and 18% more shift vacancies. The chemical industry is becoming more flexible and compliant towards job seekers, employers are ready to consider different employment formats in order to quickly attract staff,” – notes Ekaterina Nikiforova, head of the press service of hh.ru South.
The range of salaries in the chemical industry in Russia at the moment is from 45,977? up to 80 460?. In the Rostov region, employers are willing to pay a little more: from 45,990 to 83,800.
