We continue to acquaint with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Privates, sergeants, corporals and officers who showed their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the police units of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, are given the highest rating.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counteroffensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise. The servicemen are sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“You go to beat the enemy – multiply the troops, empty the posts, remove communications. Having beaten the enemy, renew according to circumstances, but drive him to crushing, ”said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he warned his soldiers: “The uncut forest grows again!”

“The commander of the vehicle, the operator of the platoon of anti-tank guided missiles of the guard, junior sergeant Vyacheslav Okayov, with his crew, was in a camouflaged position, performing a combat mission to hold the dominant height in a tank-dangerous direction. The enemy, in an attempt to dislodge Russian units from their height, stormed our positions using heavy armored vehicles. While observing, Okayamov timely detected the advance of the enemy in the direction of the defensive lines. Despite the mortar shelling that had begun, without unmasking their position, Vyacheslav’s crew continued to observe. Being under enemy fire, Okayamov corrected the fire of Russian artillery, timely detected and transmitted to the command post information about the movement of armored vehicles and motorized infantry of militants. During the battle, after waiting for the advance of the enemy armored group, competently managing the crew, maneuvering, changing firing positions, Vyacheslav hit the tank and the nationalist infantry group, who attempted to attack from the flank, with aimed fire from the ATGM. The professional and selfless actions of the guard junior sergeant Vyacheslav Okoemov thwarted the attack of the militants, the enemy was detected in a timely manner and suffered significant losses in manpower and armored vehicles.

“Private Aleksey Revin, as part of the unit, performed a combat mission to defend one of the settlements liberated during the battles with Ukrainian nationalists. In order to regain previously lost positions, the enemy attempted to break through the defense of the Russian troops. In the course of repelling the offensive of the militants, Private Revin remained cut off from the main forces. Without losing his composure, Alexei entrenched himself on a dominant height, from where he continued to hold the defense alone, holding down the enemy’s actions for several hours. Aleksey’s position was repeatedly attacked by enemy drones and mortar fire. However, despite the mine-explosive injury and multiple shrapnel wounds, Aleksey held the defensive line until reinforcements arrived. The arriving units pushed the enemy back to their original positions. The courage and courage of private Alexei Revin allowed the Russian units to repel the attack of the militants.”
