We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Privates, sergeants, corporals and officers who showed their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the police units of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, are given the highest rating.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counteroffensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise. The servicemen are sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“Brothers! Bayonet, stab with the butt! Don’t delay: go ahead! Wow, move! Shake your head, go ahead, brothers! Miracle heroes, go ahead! We are Russians!” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who never lost a single battle. And he taught the soldiers: “Be perspicacious, careful. Have a definite goal. Be able to anticipate false and dubious circumstances, but do not get carried away by local ardor.
DESTROYED A GROUP OF MILITANTS WITH A PRECISION SHOT

“Acting as part of a battalion tactical group of Russian paratroopers, the deputy commander of a combat vehicle, gunner-operator, junior sergeant Ivan Novikov, performed tasks to liberate one of the settlements from the armed formations of Ukrainian nationalists. While moving through the outskirts of the settlement, he discovered a group of armed militants in an abandoned building preparing an ambush. Quickly assessing the situation, the crew of the military vehicle decided to attack the enemy. Junior Sergeant Novikov destroyed the firing points of the nationalists with aimed fire from the BMP cannon and prevented an attack on his colleagues. As a result of the fighting, the settlement was liberated from Ukrainian nationalists.”
COVERING COMRADES WAS WOUNDED, BUT DEFEATED saboteurs

“Driver-electrician Corporal Ruslan Borokhov, acting as part of the unit, performed a combat mission to ensure the safe movement of a column of Russian troops. During the march to a given area, Ruslan discovered a group of Ukrainian nationalists preparing an ambush, which he immediately reported to the commander. It was decided to immediately attack the positions of the militants. Borokhov was one of the first to fight the nationalists. During the battle, showing courage and heroism, Ruslan, covering his comrades, was injured, however, having provided first aid to himself, he continued to fight until the enemy was completely destroyed. During the battle, Borokhov personally destroyed three nationalists, evacuated six wounded colleagues at the risk of his life. The personal courage and dedication of Corporal Borokhov, shown in the performance of military duty, not only saved the column of Russian troops from an ambush, but also saved the lives and health of servicemen. As a result of the clashes, enemy saboteurs were eliminated.
