The Armed Forces of Ukraine (UAF) have launched so-called “formative” operations in anticipation of an expected counter-offensive against Russian forces. This was reported by CNN, citing two senior Western military.
The formation includes strikes against targets such as armories, command centers, armored and artillery systems, and aims to prepare the battlefield for an offensive. This is a standard tactic used before major combined operations.
