The candidate dand Citizens (Cs) the Mayor of Huelva and spokesperson for the Municipal Group in the City Council of the capital, Guillermo Garcia de Longoriahas assured that “we came out in these Municipal Elections for all, we have an aspiration to govern this city and to implement all those measures that the more than 2,000 Huelva people with whom we have met during this pre-campaign have transferred to us”.
longorawho has started the electoral campaign in the El Polvorín neighborhood of Isla Chica together with the members of his candidacy, has indicated that “the Municipal Elections are the elections of the people and the people want close people, to recover that closeness in the associations, in collectives, in the Culture programs in Los Barrios and, ultimately, they want politicians who fight, who fight for their city and who can hit the table in Madrid or Seville with complete freedom”.
The Cs candidate explained that “we have been on the streets for quite a few months now, our campaign is on the streets, it is not headquarters, it is not press conferences, it is for contact with the citizens. In this pre-campaign we have made face-to-face contact with almost 2,000 people from Huelva who have conveyed their proposals to us through the ‘Longoria Listen’ program. We are perhaps the organization that is most on the streets, that listens to people the most and that is positive for making a effective electoral program, the one that the people want”.
Regarding the candidacy with which he is running for these elections, Longoria has described it as “solid, with experience, preparation and enthusiasm, all the members of the list are 100% people from Huelva who want to work for our city and who have shown over the last few years their involvement in the social life of Huelva, in their groups and traditions and that they want to continue serving Huelva”.
“We have extensive experience in public management and with a proven ability to start working from day one to improve the lives of the people of Huelva,” said the Cs candidate, who has guaranteed that “we are going to carry out a campaign of proposals, without insulting anyone, we will be decisive in forming the next Government of the city of Huelva to definitively promote all the projects that will make us take the definitive leap into modernity”.
Longoria has assured that with Ciudadanos in the municipal government “they will fight before the Junta de Andalucía and the central government so that the projects that they have promised us reach Huelva, because we are free and nobody is going to silence us, we will have a cleaner city and with more employment opportunities for our young people, supporting small entrepreneurs and the self-employed and offering a more agile and efficient city council in its management”.
