The Attached Police promotes the I Conference on Protection and Intervention with Minors
The Faculty of Social Work of the University of Huelva (UHU) hosted last Tuesday the I Conference on Protection and Intervention with Minors driven by the National Police Unit attached to the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.
The event, which aroused great interest among the students, brought together more than a hundred students from various grades who were instructed in the promotion of operational methodologies and techniques for detecting and reporting risk situations and the lack of protection of minors.
Police experts, professors from the UHU and those responsible for the Center for Juvenile Offenders and the Minor Protection Service of the Junta de Andalucía made their knowledge and experience available to the students.
This day is framed in the so-called Prometeo Plan developed by the aforementioned Police Unit Attached to Andalusia through which it intends to establish a culture of protection of minors through complementary activities to the academic training of students at Andalusian universities.
