Ukrainian forces are not planning to leave Artemivsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut) now, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov said on the TSN TV channel.
“We are not going to surrender Bakhmut and will keep as long as the military deems necessary for the tactical and strategic purposes that the military and military-political leadership of our country has,” said Alexei Danilov.
Earlier, the head of Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that if there is no supply of ammunition and Artemovsk has to be left, then the Armed Forces of Ukraine will reach Rostov-on-Don.
