In the Krasnodar Territory, a recruitment for participation in the program has been opened, within the framework of which compensation payments are provided for medical workers. For doctors, state support is 1 million rubles, for paramedics, midwives and nurses – 500 thousand rubles. In remote and hard-to-reach areas, payments have been increased to 1.5 million rubles and 750 thousand rubles, respectively. Not only relocated specialists, but also local residents can join the program, recalled State Duma deputy Svetlana Bessarab.
In 2022, the Zemsky Doctor and Zemsky Paramedic programs were expanded. Now graduates of medical universities and colleges who want to work in rural areas where they were born and raised can participate in them.
“Thanks to the Zemsky Doctor program, the issue of a shortage of doctors of narrow specialties and general practitioners in rural hospitals and FAPs, as well as in hard-to-reach areas, is being addressed. In the Kuban, more than 400 specialists are employed annually under the program. By 2025, it is planned to attract 1,500 doctors and about 4,000 medical personnel to the region. The lump-sum payment due under the program, the participants can dispose of at their discretion. In addition, additional support measures for medical workers have been established in the region. So, they are provided with a social payment of 1 million rubles, which can be used as a down payment on a mortgage loan, this state support is provided to specialists who have been continuously living in the Krasnodar Territory for ten years, ”commented Deputy of the State Duma Svetlana Bessarab.
