Dozens of engineers, graduates in environmental sciences and qualified professionals from cepsa They provide training on a voluntary basis students from the University of Huelva and UNIA along the course. They are classes that get out of the routine of the students and whose objective is that they have a different vision to the purely academic one throughout the year.
He Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Huelva and the UNIA has a large group of professors who come from Cepsa, including the director of the La Rábida Energy Park, Jorge Acitores, or the person in charge of quality and continuous improvement, Rebeca García
In the case of the University’s Master’s in Chemical Engineering, there are 18 dates on which Cepsa professionals give classes on topics such as “fluid dynamics simulation”, “integral management and sustainability of chemical processes”, or “r&d+ management and in chemical engineering”.
Cepsa also has a presence in the Master of Environmental Technology, with the participation of Francisco Serrano, an engineer from the energy park’s environmental protection unit. The students of this master’s degree take one of their classes in person at Cepsa’s own facilities in La Rábida.
For Rebeca García, who this week received the students of the Master’s in Chemical Engineering at the La Rábida Energy Park, “bringing the students to Cepsa is positive for them and for us. For them, because it gives them something different, being able to see our teams up close, and for us it is important to be in contact with them, who will be our future as a company”.
These relationships between cepsa and the educational environment in Huelva are historical, and little by little they are growing. The Fundación Cepsa Chair, the Dual Vocational Training students who pass through the company’s facilities, the Fundación Cepsa Vocational Training scholarships or internship students from various degrees such as Labor Relations, Engineering or Communication are some of the actions with which that Cepsa contributes to the training of students in the province of Huelva.
