In the central park of the regional capital, employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Stavropol Territory deployed a field kitchen
On Victory Day, almost a thousand Stavropol residents and guests of the city were able to taste the real “soldier’s” porridge, cooked in the field kitchen by employees of the penitentiary institutions of the regional capital.
After the Victory Parade, a field kitchen was set up in the center of the city, which caused great excitement among those who wanted to refresh themselves with hot buckwheat porridge with meat, sweet tea and fragrant bread. This event caused a special delight in children, who happily ate all the contents of the plate.
But the culinary recipe for this porridge is very simple. Its main ingredients are boiling water, cereals and stew. But they touch the soul so much, with their simplicity and spontaneity. And also the fact that they were on the tables of our grandfathers and grandmothers, who won this Victory for us with their work and courage.
As soon as the street smelled of cooked porridge, a line of people who wanted to try it lined up at the field kitchen.
