More than 40 million rubles were allocated to complete the construction of the club in Sukko :: News
The House of Culture under construction in the village of Sukko was included in the party project of the WFP “United Russia” “Culture of a small Motherland” in 2023. 40 million 597 thousand rubles were allocated from the budgets of all levels to complete the construction work and equip the institution. The club plans to open workshops and sections of different directions, said State Duma deputy Svetlana Bessarab.
Landscaping and finishing work inside the building is currently underway. The club is expected to open its doors in September this year. This will be the first cultural and leisure facility in the village, built as part of the party project. The building of the old House of Culture has fallen into disrepair.
“The new building will be equipped with an auditorium for 200 seats, vocal and choreographic circles and sections, a pottery workshop, a gym and a large library. That is, in one building, every resident of the village will be able to find something to their liking. In addition, children will no longer need to travel to a neighboring village several kilometers away to attend creative workshops. In addition, within the framework of the project this year, a major overhaul of the House of Culture in the Uporny farm of the Pavlovsky district will be carried out. More than two million rubles have been allocated for work in this building. Despite the difficult economic situation under the sanctions, the party project continues to help cultural institutions in the villages and cities of our region, without slowing down the momentum since 2017,” commented regional coordinator of the United Russia party project “Culture of a Small Motherland”, State Duma deputy Svetlana Bessarab.
