With the arrival of spring, Port Lucena welcomes all acts relating to the May Crosses.
The town has already celebrated one of its festivals, and the next one to be held will be this Saturday, May 13, where Luceneros and visitors will be able to enjoy the ‘Great Verbena in honor of the Santa Cruz de Arriba’a highly anticipated event that encourages hundreds of residents to take to the streets, where the extensive programming chosen for it leaves no one indifferent.
The festival will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Calle Arriba with the parade The Great Genius which will be made up of the Elephant and the great genius as well as characters such as Aladdin, Jasmine, Sultan, etc., for the smallest and youngest.
After the entertaining afternoon for the little ones, attendees will be able to enjoy the great performance of a tribute to Manuel Carrasco which will begin at 11:30 p.m. Then the party will continue with the music of DJ Adrianwho will be in charge of playing music until the early hours of Sunday morning.
And all this with the incentive that attendees will be able to taste everything from traditional home-made sweets from the land, such as donuts and piononos, to the most varied tapas, portions, snails and drinks that will be served by members of the Brotherhood at very popular prices.
