Former Prime Minister Sanna Marin and her husband Markus Räikkönen have filed for divorce.

Former prime minister Sanna Marin, who lost the parliamentary elections in early April, and her husband Markus Räikkönen filed for divorce. Marin herself announced this on the social network Instagram.
The couple met when they were 18 years old. Marin and Räikkönen have been together for about 19 years. In January 2018, their daughter Emma was born, but Sanna and Markus got married a little less than three years ago, in early August 2020. The ceremony was already held at the prime minister’s state residence Kesäranta in northwest Helsinki.
In the same message, Sanna Marin told her followers that they are still best friends and loving parents.
While Marin’s political future is still in doubt, Räikkönen has recently been working at a Helsinki start-up specializing in the development, production and commercialization of hardware and software products for the aerospace and communications industries.
I would like to write that nothing foreshadowed such a development of events, but secular observers have long noticed that the couple rests mainly in different companies. The situation was also fueled by tabloid photographs from various private parties, which, if desired, could be interpreted in different ways. The media image of Sannam Marin has always been very bright, while her husband often remained in the shadows.
