In the Georgievsky District, on the territory of Georgievskiy Brick Plant LLC, the third section of the Correctional Center No. 1 of the Office of the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Stavropol Territory was opened.
The opening ceremony was attended by Alexander Guskov, Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Justice of Russia for the Stavropol Territory, Nikolay Lisinsky, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Stavropol Territory, and Konstantin Palatov, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiffs Service for the Stavropol Territory in the Georgievsky District Department, and the leadership of the Federal Penitentiary Service.
The building was renovated through a public-private partnership.
The leaders of the penitentiary service of the region drew attention to the fact that such a practice of cooperation and the relative ease of building dormitories for convicts at production enterprises will create a sufficient number of jobs for those sentenced to forced labor, making up for the lack of labor resources.
Recall that the Federal Penitentiary Service is carrying out a set of measures to expand the network of correctional centers and isolated areas in the Stavropol Territory.
In the Stavropol Territory, this is already the fourth institution in which convicts will carry out the execution of punishment in the form of forced labor. The possibilities of this section of the correctional center involve the placement of up to 50 convicts.
