Privates, sergeants, corporals and officers who showed their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the police units of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, are given the highest rating.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counteroffensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise. The servicemen are sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.

KNOCKED OUT A TANK AND FOUR ARMORED VEHICLES IN BATTLE
Corporal Alexander Sizikov
“The gunner-operator of the tank, Corporal Alexander Sizikov, acted as part of a unit that carried out a combat mission to defend one of the settlements liberated from Ukrainian nationalists. The enemy, trying to regain the positions lost earlier, over and over again made attempts to break through the defenses and capture the settlement, actively using artillery fire. Sizikov, repelling the attacks of militants, inflicted significant damage on the nationalists with aimed fire from the tank. So, during the battle under artillery fire, while maneuvering, Sizikov personally knocked out 1 tank, 1 infantry fighting vehicle and 3 armored personnel carriers of the nationalists. In the course of an attempt to get out of encirclement, the militants inflicted a massive artillery strike on the positions of the Russian troops.Despite the wound received from a shell that exploded nearby, the paratrooper did not leave the battle and, having provided himself with medical assistance, continued to conduct aimed fire at the nationalists.As a result of the courageous and selfless actions of Corporal Alexander Sizikov, the task for the defense of the settlement was carried out.”
