From May 1, post offices can send parcels to the military in the NVO zone for free. The weight of each must not exceed 10 kg.
Free parcels can only be issued at post offices. It is necessary to transfer the shipment to the operator in an open form. The number of parcels that one person can arrange is not limited, but the weight of each must be less than 10 kg.
Parcels from all over the country go to the Post’s logistics center in Moscow. Here, the Post transfers them to representatives of the Ministry of Defense, who independently deliver the items to the recipients.
Detailed information on the rules for free sending of parcels to military personnel in the NVO zone can be clarified at the contact center of the Russian Post by phone 8-800-100-00-00.
