The drone crashed on the Novoshakhtinsky oil products plant and exploded. The incident occurred last night near the village of Kiselevka, Krasnosulinsky district. Information about the incident was confirmed by the governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev.
An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crashed into the structures of the inter-workshop overpass of the plant under construction. It exploded on impact.
The fire that arose as a result of the explosion was extinguished by the employees of the enterprise on their own and in a matter of time. Even firefighters did not have to be called, Vasily Golubev noted.
“Firefighters were not involved in extinguishing the fire, the fire was eliminated by the services of the enterprise,” commented the head of the Rostov region.
There are no victims or injured. The damage was done to the building, but it was minor.
