The Australian Security Agency undertook to study the concert of the Russian Orthodox male choir, held at the Sydney City Hall. It was all the fault of pro-Russian activists who attracted the attention of journalists and the public.

Before the start of the choir’s performance, a dozen men in black T-shirts with a white Z posed for reporters at the entrance to City Hall, then lined up in front of the stage, which excited the Australian audience. They were accused in the press of supporting Vladimir Putin.

Immediately after the concert, some activists turned to the security authorities with a request to investigate.

“This concert was not a truly multicultural event, but a prime example of Russian propaganda,” they said in a statement.

Edition The Sydney Morning Herald suggested that the speech of the activists is connected with the Russian Semyon Boikov. At the end of last year, he was detained by the police for a brawl at a rally in support of Ukraine. At the same time, YouTube blocked his channel “Australian Cossack” for pro-Russian videos. The Australian authorities issued a warrant for the arrest of the Russian, but Boikov managed to hide in the Russian embassy, where he remains to this day.
