Citizens with disabilities can receive compensation for part of the cost of a compulsory car insurance contract. Disabled persons and children with disabilities, in accordance with the rehabilitation program, are entitled to reimbursement of 50% OSAGO. For the legal representative of a disabled child, a document confirming his authority will be required, said State Duma deputy Svetlana Bessarab.
Compensation is provided under one valid OSAGO policy. The contract must specify no more than two drivers in addition to a citizen with a disability or his legal representative.
“You can receive compensation within a year, while the auto insurance contract is in effect. According to the regional branch of the Social Fund for the first quarter of this year, 127 residents of Kuban received compensation for the cost of the policy. The amount of payments in total amounted to 517 thousand rubles. If all the necessary data is entered in the Federal Register of Disabled Persons and the EGISSO, then compensation is paid automatically, without personal visits to the Social Fund, ”commented Deputy of the State Duma Svetlana Bessarab.
