A monument in honor of the soldiers who died in a special military operation (SVO) to protect the inhabitants of new regions of Russia and other military operations was erected in the Ust-Donetsk region, the Don 24 TV channel reports.
Local residents and the business community of the district raised more than 5 million rubles for the creation and installation of the memorial.
The grand opening of the monument to those who died for the Motherland will take place on May 6 at 11:00.
