He PSOE has officially presented the list with which he will attend the next municipal elections from the city of Huelva, which will be held on May 28. The Plaza de la Escuela de Arte León Ortega, in the Matadero neighborhood, has been the setting chosen for the launch of this candidacy, a place that exemplifies, as the current mayor of the capital and candidate for mayor has pointed out, gabriel crossthe transformation that the city has undergone and the road map for the future government.
“This place represents the commitment to a model of a sustainable, habitable, friendly city, with opportunities, which responds not only to the needs, but also to the aspirations of citizens. They chose us as a pilot experience in shaping the new urban agenda and we are demonstrating it with the development of the city itself on a physical level, but also on a social, cultural, and leisure level. We are facing a city that is repaired and that needs a government with enthusiasm, with ambition, a strong government with capacity”.
Cruz stressed that “each and every one of the men and women who are part of the candidacy they have an important curriculum behind them, they have demonstrated in different public and private spheres their management capacity, their ability to make decisions and above all that they share the transversal element that is illusion and ambition. We are aware of the moment in which Huelva is, we have tremendous possibilities of development in the industrial, energy sector, also at a cultural, heritage, tourist and economic level. We think about structuring, growing and, above all, giving opportunities to everyone. And to achieve this we have the best team”.
Asked about the new names that were added to the list and were not part of the previous government, the current mayor assured that “it is about continuing to move forward, continue to grow and bet on a thriving, modern and developing Huelva with opportunities. They are profiles in their different sectors in which the trajectory and the path we follow abound. I am also very proud of the councilors who are leaving because they have done a fantastic job, you just have to see the results”.
Cruz ended by emphasizing that he feels “proud to have a team of capable women and men, prepared, with ambition, with enthusiasm, with intelligence, with strength and most importantly, willing to make decisions. Decisions are never easy, in these years we have made very difficult decisions that had to be made. That is this government team, which follows the line of the previous two and has the interest of Huelva and the citizens of Huelva above all else”.
