In the Krasnodar Territory, consumer activity in March-early April gradually recovered against January-February. In the Kuban, the tourist flow in March increased by 10% compared to the same month last year, which affected the occupancy of public catering establishments and the growth of their turnover. This and other trends are reflected in the next issue report Bank of Russia “Regional Economy”.
In the retail segment, consumers preferred local brands. Retailers, in turn, to maintain the level of prices, increased the share of sales of goods under their own brands, involving regional manufacturers in their production. The revival of demand had an impact on the food industry in the region: enterprises increased their output, gradually replacing imported components with domestic ones.
In the field of paid services in the Kuban, the demand for the repair of household appliances and electronics has grown.
