The first day of the Caucasian Investment Exhibition has started at the IEC “MinvodyEXPO” in Mineralnye Vody. Several events of the business program are held at the site. Also, an exhibition exposition is open for guests of KIV-2023.
The main exhibition exposition of KIV-2023 includes 20 stands of regions and countries, as well as commercial companies operating in the North Caucasus Federal District. The Republic of Dagestan, the Republic of Chechnya, the Republic of Ingushetia, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia, the Stavropol Territory, as well as the Republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia will present their investment projects.
The central area of the exposition was the joint stand of the Kavkaz.RF Development Institute. It presents plans for the further development of the resorts of the North Caucasus and key investment projects of the macroregion. It is planned to sign more than a dozen agreements with financial institutions, SEZ residents, SMEs and public organizations at the stand.
As part of the business program of the KIV-2023 launch day, the sessions “Housing and Communal Complex and Energy”, “Economic Prospects for Russian Industry in the North Caucasus Federal District”, “Urban Studies + Economics. The contribution of the master plan to the economic development of the territories in the Caucasus”. In the second part of the business program, the participants will discuss the development of the transport and logistics complex and cross-border cooperation, livestock farming in the agro-industrial complex. Special attention will be paid to digital solutions in the housing and communal services and fuel and energy sectors.
In total, the program of the first Caucasian investment exhibition will include more than 20 business events dedicated to the integrated development of the North Caucasus Federal District in key areas: agro-industrial complex, tourism, transport and logistics, banking sector, housing and communal services and energy, industry, human resources and entrepreneurial potential.
The central event of the KIV-2023 business program is the plenary session “Economic potential of the North Caucasus Federal District. The role of investments in the development of the macro-region”, which will be held on May 3. Also on this day, the site will host a meeting of the government commission on socio-economic development with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister, curator of the North Caucasus Federal District Alexander Novak.
The business program of KIV-2023 will be attended by heads of state authorities, representatives of Russian and international companies, the media, youth and scientific communities.
The Caucasian Investment Exhibition is aimed at developing the regions that are part of the North Caucasian Federal District. The event will bring together key investors, initiators of investment projects, development institutions and banks of the North Caucasus. Experts, entrepreneurs, manufacturers present new economic vectors and business ideas, as well as current trends and development strategies. The event is supported by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. The organizer is the Roscongress Foundation.
