People will have to get used to the presence of unusual colleagues.

The good news is that employers will create 69 million jobs worldwide by 2027. The bad news is that it will cut 83 million. That is, in just three to four years, 14 million vacancies will disappear – these are the data of the report of the World Economic Forum (WEF), which conducted a survey of more than 800 large employers. 14 million is a lot, about 2% of current employment.
The most unpleasant thing is that experts call artificial intelligence one of the key reasons for this situation, by the grace of which secretaries, data analysts and other specialists who occupy 26 million jobs today will lose their jobs.
Of course, artificial intelligence is not the only reason for the reduction in vacancies, inflation and the general decline in economic growth will also play a role, but this does not make it any easier. Add fuel to the fire and analysts at Goldman Sachs: artificial intelligence, according to their calculations, will soon be able to perform up to 46% of tasks in the field of administration and 44% in jurisprudence.
It turns out that we are very close to a situation where robots are replacing people. Poorly, apparently, we studied the classics. After all, all this was predicted a long time ago in our favorite children’s film, The Adventures of Electronics. “Robots work hard, not people!” Syroezhkin sang joyfully in the first series. And already in the second, he bitterly regretted that Elektronik replaced him even where it was not necessary …
COMMENTARY OF THE SPECIALIST
We will be saved by the principle of communism or projects on a planetary scale
– Usually, when they say that if artificial intelligence takes jobs, they make a reservation that it is, they say, it’s not scary – new jobs will appear. But according to my observations, this is not entirely true, – said on the air Radio “Komsomolskaya Pravda” Stanislav Ashmanov, CEO of Ashmanov Neural Networks. – For all the projects that I observed, it turned out that jobs were disappearing. In my opinion, any strategy for digitalization and the introduction of artificial intelligence should always include a chapter on what jobs will disappear and what to do about it. And we need to soberly evaluate these effects. Moreover, this is a problem of the state. It is it that should think about preventing a negative effect. For example, it can encourage and pay for the retraining of people, and there is such a practice in Russia. This is very good.
According to the expert, he does not agree with the figure of 2%, which was mentioned in the report. In his opinion, the number of jobs in the world may decrease even more. Moreover, not so much drivers (although artificial intelligence is already able to replace them) become unclaimed, first of all, but intellectual workers. When it suddenly becomes clear that the work of a translator, lawyer, or even a doctor can be done fairly well by an algorithm. This will be a serious problem in the near future.
– What can be done about it? Maybe we should remember the principle of communism “From each according to his ability – to each according to his needs,” continues Ashmanov. – True, in the West this is no longer associated with communism, they use the concept of “unconditional basic income” (the social concept of an unconditional basic income involves the regular payment by the state of a certain amount to each citizen without the need for them to do any work, – Ed.) . This also includes experiments on the introduction of a 4-day work week, etc. Another solution to the problem: maybe we, as humanity, need large projects on a planetary scale, and then all people will be in business?
