Based on the materials of the FSB of Russia for the Rostov region, the secretary of the military medical commission (VVK) of the military commissariat of the Oktyabrsky and Voroshilovsky districts of Rostov-on-Don was convicted.
According to the press service of the law enforcement agency, in the spring of 2021, operatives documented the facts of collecting money from students of the military training center (Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Rostov State University of Communications” (hereinafter – “RGUPS”) for their subsequent transfer through intermediaries to the secretary of the VVK Irina Mishchenko for receiving positive conclusions from medical commissions without actually passing them.
The criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 291.2 of the Criminal Code of Russia “Petty bribery”.
The justice of the peace of court district No. 4 of the Voroshilovsky district of the city of Rostov-on-Don found Mishchenko guilty and sentenced to a fine. The verdict came into force.
