He light park will host next Saturday, May 6, the first Gastronomic Fair of Huelva Beans. He City hall of the capital and the Association of Entrepreneurs of District VI of Huelva organize this event whose protagonist is one of the most characteristic dishes of Huelva gastronomy, the broad beans in zapatás. This was announced by the Councilor for Commerce and Markets, Tania González, and the representative of the Association of Entrepreneurs of District VI, Noelia Galvín, at a press conference held this Tuesday at City Hall.

The councilor expressed that from the Consistory “we are very happy to announce this fair in which we have been working together for several months. It will consist of a free tasting of up to 1,000 tapas broad beans in zapatás that are going to be cooked by the students of the Virgin of Bethlehem College and that can be obtained through the 1,000 tickets that the merchants of the district will distribute to their customers in their stores. However, those who do not get the free tickets can still enjoy these bean tapas, as they can also be purchased for a solidarity donation of one euro, the proceeds of which will go entirely to the AOCAM Santa Águeda Association”.

The Bean Fair will begin around 12:00 in the morning and will last until 10:00 at night. Those in charge of managing the bar will be members of the Ntro Parish Association. An afternoon meeting enlivened with various proposals such as concerts by Comborock (12:30 – 3:00 p.m.) and the Punto y Seguido group (8:00 – 9:30 p.m.), and children’s entertainment (6:00 – 8:00 p.m. hours) with storytelling and magic shows.

“We want to thank the City Council and the Department of Commerce for organizing this first Bean Fair. We call on all citizens to participate and enjoy this event, because it has a purpose of solidarity with the AOCAM Association.
