the quarry of Recreational IES La Orden has once again starred in a successful weekend both nationally and internationally. David Carvajal and Álvaro Morán have once again stood on the podium in the Top Master Sub 15 and Sub 19 held last weekend in San Lorenzo del Escoriahe.
Carvajal has won the gold in the Under 15 Men’s Doubles together with his teammate Asier Torres from Almeria, and managed to qualify to the quarterfinals in the individual, while Morán has doubled, achieving silver in the Men’s Individual and Under 19 mixed doubles with Elena Payá from Alicante.
Like Carvajal and Morán, Rubén Carreras has also shown a good level of competition in the YONEX Bozner Cup U17 International 2023 held in Italy, where he managed to advance to qualify in the Men’s Singles round of 16 and in the Mixed Doubles quarterfinals.
Other players apart from Carvajal and Morán
The Huelva club has also had an outstanding participation in the 2023 Spanish University Championships held in Valladolid.
The players from IES La Orden Adrián Márquez, Alejandro Pérez, Karen Martín, Izaro Eraña and Alba Padilla have been in charge of representing the University of Huelva in an event in which nearly 75 universities from all over the country have gathered. The people from Huelva achieved their best classification after reaching the quarterfinals in the Men’s Doubles.
