A woman has died and another 25 have been injured, including seven with a very serious prognosis, when a bus carrying seasonal workers overturned in the Huelva municipality of Almonte, according to reports emergencies 112 Andalusia.
The accident occurred at kilometer 16 of the highway A-484 at 6:25 this morning, when a bus carrying seasonal workers of Moroccan nationality overturned.
According to the first provisional data provided by the Health Emergencies Center (CES 061) to 112, 38 workers were traveling on the damaged bus; one of them has died in the accident, another seven have been very seriously injured and 18 more are slightly injured. All those affected are being evacuated to hospitals in Huelva and Seville.
Attention after the overturn of the bus
The health services of 061 and the Primary Care Emergency Service (SUAP) continue to work in the accident, along with members of the Local Police, Civil Traffic Guard, Provincial Consortium of Huelva Firefighters and Highway Maintenance.
