The mayor of beas, Diego Lorenzo Becerrilis running for re-election with a renewed team to continue promoting the social transformation of the municipality, “I am very excited and with a very clear idea, my desire to continue working for this land that saw me born, which has given me so much, which I love and vindicate permanently”.
This has been revealed in the act of presentation of his candidacy, which has had the intervention of the general secretary of the PSOE of Huelva, María Eugenia Limón, who has praised the work carried out by the mayor and the revulsive that it has meant for the municipality the policies implemented by the socialist government team.
María Eugenia Limón has stressed that “no one can deny the immense work that the mayor and his councilors have done to position Beas as a benchmark inside and outside our province. It has been hard, daily work, but it is having extraordinary results, in terms of tourism, environmental culture, agri-food… and that is fundamental, fostering our roots, attaching people to the territory, because that is how we grow, as a people and as people” .
For this reason, she has been “enormously proud of this work that, without a doubt, is guaranteed for the next four years with the worth of the people who make up her new candidacy for the May 28 elections. I know many of them, they are very hard-working and have extraordinary training. The municipality of Beas wins with these people and with this team, the best to continue on this path of growth, development, progress and well-being”.
Experience in Lorenzo’s list
For his part, the mayor and candidate for re-election, Diego Lorenzo Becerril, highlighted from his list that “it is made up of people with extensive experience in municipal life in Beas and others who are new to this project and who have in common their training and professional experience in other public administrations. A team full of illusion and with the desire to continue promoting the social transformation of our town”.
Likewise, it has outlined new goals such as the new PGOU (General Plan for Urban Planning) of Beas, “that makes our municipality a reference space in the province of Huelva”. With the commitment to irrigation, mining, renewable energy and tourism as new axes of development for Beas and its towns: Candón, Fuente de la Corcha and Navahermosa”.
Diego Lorenzo Becerril has also stressed the importance of “continuing to advance in cultural, social and sports facilities, as well as valuing the historical and natural heritage”.
“And, all this, with the demonstrated commitment to govern for everyone, in collaboration with the broad social fabric of Beas.”
