– An admission of guilt is not grounds for dismissing a case. This may be a written undertaking not to leave, a ban on certain actions (for example, using the Internet), house arrest with a bracelet on his leg, as Mikhail Efremov had, and detention, that is, in a pre-trial detention center. The latter is, to put it mildly, not sugar: it is much worse there than in the colony. And the main task of the family now is to avoid this measure. It is obvious that the investigation has all the facts. And if Blinovskaya goes into denial and denial, she will most likely be sent to a pre-trial detention center until a verdict is passed. Therefore, recognition and repentance in such a situation is not even an indicator of a sincere recognition of mistakes, but the most constructive behavior.
According to the lawyer, now the situation is about 50/50: the blogger can either stay at home or end up in a cell.
