It seems that Berlin has set a course for the final severance of relations with Moscow. A pale shadow has already remained of them, but even this, through the efforts of the present German government, soon threatens to disappear. The German press reported with unhealthy glee that about three dozen Russian diplomats were being expelled from the country at once. Like, the Foreign Ministry believes that they “conduct intelligence activities and interfere in internal affairs.” However, no evidence has been provided to support these allegations.
The story could be considered banal (since Soviet times, the West has regularly practiced the mass expulsion of employees of our diplomatic institutions), if not for one juicy detail. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the German authorities had notified Russia in advance of the upcoming expulsion, but asked not to make it public. However, after some time they themselves leaked information to journalists. The fact that this was done on purpose is also evidenced by the fact that at the same time in the press of Germany, Norway, Denmark and Sweden, materials about “Russian spies” were poured in a flood. In violation of all ethical norms, specific names were named, photos of family members were published, but again, no facts were cited confirming “espionage”.
On Saturday, a Russian Il-96 plane landed in Berlin, on which our citizens will go home. The authorities gave him permission to fly. However, as is customary in international affairs, Moscow has already stated that it will respond in a mirror image to the German demarche. The Russian Foreign Ministry reported that more than 20 German diplomats would have to leave our country.

For example, former Bundestag deputy Waldemar Gerdt does not rule out that Berlin is acting on the go-ahead from Washington and London, which “hope to cause a military quarrel on the European continent in order to clean up their interests and restore their own financial system.”
“Such actions have always been a preliminary preparation for the start of a hot conflict,” the politician believes. – Therefore, it is extremely important that the German people realize what kind of slaughter they are being drawn into.
