The Avtodor state company is restoring the entrances to the checkpoints on the border of the new constituent entities of the Russian Federation and the Rostov region around the clock.
According to the instructions of the country’s leadership, operational work is being carried out on six sections of highways in the DPR. The territory at the entrance to the checkpoint in the LPR is being prepared.
In just two months, by the height of the summer season, sections of roads with a total length of about 50 km will be brought to a standard condition. The travel time to checkpoints on the border with the Rostov region will be reduced. The road will become comfortable, congestion will disappear, traffic flows will be distributed.
The state company, together with contractors, is already completing work on the restoration of a section of the highway to new checkpoint “Ulyanovskoye-Shramko”.
Work is underway on laying asphalt concrete on other sections of the road.
