Official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov at the last briefing, he told reporters about daily losses among soldiers and mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: 65 Ukrainian servicemen were killed in the Kupyansky direction, up to 80 in Krasno-Limansky, over 120 in South-Donetsk and Zaporozhye, in Kherson up to 20, in Donetsk up to 360.
In addition to the liquidation of 645 mercenaries of the Kiev regime, our troops destroyed the ammunition depot of the 67th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the M777 artillery system (USA), as well as dozens of tanks, armored vehicles, howitzers and self-propelled guns.
The lieutenant general noted the combat work of the assault detachments in Artemovsk, which continue active operations to destroy the enemy in the western part of the city.
“The airborne troops, operational-tactical and army aviation of the armed forces provide direct support to the actions of the assault detachments to capture the city and prevent the enemy’s attempts to transfer reserves there. Artillery strikes by the “Southern” group of troops hit units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Bogdanovka, Krasnoye and Stupochki of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” Konashenkov added, and stressed that over the past day, in the interests of supporting assault detachments in the area of the city of Artemovsk, aircraft made nine sorties, and the artillery of the grouping completed 62 fire missions.
At this time, our operational-tactical and army aviation, missile forces and artillery destroyed the radar station for targeting the Ukrainian S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, defeated 98 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at firing positions, manpower and equipment in 124 districts.
Konashenkov thanked the air defense units for shooting down 15 Ukrainian drones in a day.
