Since 2020, 2,775 preferential loans have been issued in the Kuban in the amount of 5.8 billion rubles. Mortgages are issued at a rate of up to 3% per annum. The funds can be used to purchase a land plot and build a home ownership on it, purchase an apartment in a new building or on the secondary market, as well as build housing on a plot already owned, State Duma deputy Svetlana Bessarab noted.
The program is currently open-ended. Citizens can purchase housing not only in rural areas, but also in cities with a population of no more than 30 thousand people. Families can apply for a housing loan in the amount of up to 3 million rubles.
“Citizens can use maternity family capital as a down payment. The program helps residents improve their living conditions on preferential terms, and also encourages young people to stay in villages, farms and small towns for life and work, which is extremely important for such agricultural regions as the Kuban. In addition to maternity capital, families with many children can take advantage of additional assistance in repaying a mortgage loan from the state in the form of 450 thousand rubles, as well as a tax deduction, ”commented Deputy of the State Duma Svetlana Bessarab.
