Communicated with people from different units, standing in different areas from Alyosheki to the Kirnbur Spit. The conclusion is this.
There is no foothold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on our coast. No constant presence of him – too. But on boats they periodically come up, indicating the presence, for example, in the Dacha area, not far from the Antonovsky Bridge. Most of the left-bank islands near Kherson are controlled by our forces, but the enemy regularly tries to nightmare us.
Part of the islands is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, our artillery is constantly working on them.
The greatest activity of DRGs on motorboats is not near Kherson, but closer to the exit of the Dnieper in the Dnieper Bay. There are also a lot of islands. There, unfortunately, we are not without losses. All the islands were shot by Ukrainian artillery. Ambushes on DRGs are difficult to set up. Ours try, but periodically come under fire.
Well, I’m not surprised that everything is fine with the boats on the other side …
Conclusions: the enemy reveals our defensive capabilities along the entire coast, the speed of reaction, and works out ambush actions. If necessary, it can approach our shore and land the DRG. But it is very doubtful that they will dare to cross the Dnieper with large forces. Our artillery will take them apart.
red herring, to which you will have to respond – maybe. An attempt to cut off our garrison on the Kirnburg Spit is also possible. But without the transfer of the main forces, this is not for long and suicidal – only for the sake of informational hype and the diversion of our reserves from other directions.
