We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Privates, sergeants, corporals and officers who showed their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the police units of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, are given the highest rating.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counteroffensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise and awards. The servicemen are sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“It’s hard to learn – easy to hike! It’s easy to learn, it’s hard to go on a campaign!” Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov wrote. And the Russian commander advised the soldiers: “Die yourself – help a comrade out!” The Russian commander also advised Russian soldiers: “Never despise your enemy, whatever he may be, and get to know his weapon well, his way of acting and fighting. Know what is his strength and what is the weakness of the enemy.
PROVIDED RELIABLE ART SUPPORT TO STORM TROOPS
Guard Sergeant Dmitry Rybakov

“The gunner of the self-propelled artillery battery of the airborne assault unit of the guard, Sergeant Dmitry Rybakov, performs combat missions of striking at the identified firing positions of militants, destroying armored vehicles, artillery and mortar batteries, air defense equipment, command posts and long-term firing points of Ukrainian nationalists. During the hostilities, the armed formations of Ukrainian militants made an attempt to drive our units out of the settlement at an important line. With the support of artillery and mortars, they attacked the positions of Russian paratroopers with infantry units, as well as with the forces of an armored group of armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles. Providing artillery support to the defending Russian units, receiving combat missions for the destruction and coordinates of enemy targets, Dmitry Rybakov quickly made calculations for firing, accurately determined the range to the target, chose the aiming point, accurately aimed the gun and fired accurately. Thanks to the well-coordinated and professional work of the self-propelled artillery crew, the enemy was seriously defeated. In three days of fighting, four armored combat vehicles, six vehicles, two mortar sections of 82-mm mortars and more than three dozen Ukrainian nationalists were destroyed.”
PUT A GROUP OF SAIVERERS TO RUIN
Senior Sergeant Viktor Bilyk

“Acting as part of the engineering and sapper department, senior sergeant Viktor Bilyk performed the tasks of demining a section of the area near one of the settlements controlled by the nationalists. Moving through the area, Viktor discovered a sabotage and reconnaissance group from among Ukrainian nationalists operating in this direction.
Quickly orienting himself in the situation, Bilyk made the only right decision – to suddenly attack the enemy, and, having correctly distributed the personnel, entered the battle. The enemy offered desperate resistance, but under the pressure of sappers-paratroopers began to retreat. During the battle, senior sergeant Viktor Bilyk, not only did not allow losses among the personnel, but also personally destroyed 5 nationalists. Thanks to his observation, skillful actions and courage, an attempt to encircle and destroy the entire sapper unit was prevented, and conditions were created for a subsequent offensive in order to liberate the settlement.
