The delegation returned from Krasnoyarsk, which took part in the 1st National Award for contribution to the development of digitalization of the urban economy “Smart City”. As part of a large-scale event, the Stavropol Territory was awarded in several nominations, including in the Energy category, where the region received gold for a set of successfully implemented energy saving works.
Energy service contracts are an effective mechanism for solving the problems of modernizing street lighting, the governor of the Stavropol Territory spoke about this more than once. This experience should be replicated throughout the region.
To date, street lighting has been improved in the Kochubeevsky, Ipatovsky, Izobilnensky and Shpakovsky districts, as well as in Nevinnomyssk, Zheleznovodsk, Essentuki, Kislovodsk and others.
Energy saving measures and energy service contracts have already become commonplace in our region. The region does not stop at the achieved results; previously successfully tested solutions are being introduced in new territories. In the future, the conclusion of energy service contracts is planned in the Georgievsky and Kirov circles, and will also be continued in the Shpakovsky municipal district.
The day before, Governor Vladimir Vladimirov noted that in the near future the region will pay special attention to “smart light”, in connection with which it is planned to consider the issue of sending additional forces for the widespread holding of events in the context of energy service contracts.
Recall that energy saving is not only the practice of reducing the amount of energy used and increasing energy efficiency, but also the implementation of investment projects in the field of energy efficiency. So, thanks to the innovative solutions presented to the expert community of the 1st National Award for Contribution to the Development of Digitalization of Urban Economy “Smart City”, the Stavropol Territory has already been able to declare itself as a region that can not only compete, but also attract new investors for further its development.
In addition, according to experts, the installation of “smart light” not only brings serious savings, but also maximum street and road safety, as well as comfort for citizens.
