On the eve of the Great Victory Day, Russian Post will deliver personal congratulations from the President of Russia to veterans of the Great Patriotic War in the Krasnodar Territory. This was reported by the press service of the federal telecom operator.
From May 2 to May 8, postmen will hand over half a million letters personally to honored recipients across the country. The mail contains a postcard with congratulations on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, signed by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
Postal staff will make every effort to ensure that veterans receive meaningful letters no matter where they are during the holidays. If necessary, specialists of the Russian Post will clarify the veteran’s new place of residence and deliver congratulations to the current address. If the recipient is not at home, for example, he moved to the country or is on treatment, the letter will be stored in the nearest office for another month, and the postman will regularly repeat attempts to deliver congratulations during this time.
